Risk Disclosure
Yieldly, operated by Sensa Inc. ("Sensa," "we," "us," or "our")
Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Read this Risk Disclosure carefully before using Yieldly or acting on any information it provides. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the risks described here. This document is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. Not Investment Advice
Yieldly is a software and analytics tool provided for informational and educational purposes only. Sensa Inc. is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or commodity trading advisor. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any security, contract, or financial instrument, and nothing is tailored to your individual circumstances. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.
2. General Trading Risk
- Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including the risk of losing some or all of your capital. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
- Prices can move rapidly and unpredictably. There is no guarantee of profit, and losses can exceed expectations.
- Diversification, analytics, and tools do not eliminate risk.
3. Leverage, Derivatives, and Specific Instruments
Certain instruments carry heightened and, in some cases, unlimited risk:
- Margin and leverage can amplify both gains and losses; you may lose more than your initial deposit and may be subject to margin calls and forced liquidation.
- Futures and options are complex, can expire worthless, and can result in losses exceeding the amount invested.
- Foreign exchange (forex) involves currency, leverage, and rollover risk.
- Cryptocurrency and crypto perpetual contracts are highly volatile, may trade on lightly regulated venues, can experience liquidity gaps and funding charges, and may result in total loss.
You are responsible for understanding the characteristics and risks of any instrument before trading it.
4. Automated and AI-Assisted Trading Risk
The Service offers automated and AI-assisted features — including signals, rules, webhooks, and "auto-trade" arming — that can generate or transmit orders without further human review once enabled.
- Automation can produce unintended orders. Misconfiguration, faulty logic, unexpected market conditions, or software errors can cause orders you did not intend.
- AI-generated outputs can be wrong. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, are generated automatically, and are not reviewed by licensed financial professionals. See the AI Disclosure.
- You are responsible for configuring, arming, disarming, and monitoring any automated feature, and for the resulting orders, whether or not you reviewed each one.
- Available safeguards (caps, cooldowns, kill-switch/disarm) reduce but do not eliminate risk.
5. Broker Integration Disclosure
Because the Service connects to brokerage accounts and can submit orders, you specifically acknowledge and agree that:
- Authorization. By connecting a broker and enabling execution features, you authorize Sensa to transmit order and account instructions to your connected brokers based on your settings and the features you enable.
- Order handling is outside our control. Orders may be delayed, rejected, partially filled, modified, or canceled by the broker, exchange, or market — for reasons including connectivity, risk controls, insufficient funds or margin, market conditions, or trading halts.
- Broker records control. If the Service's records and your broker's records differ, your broker's records govern the status and disposition of your orders, positions, and balances.
- No responsibility for third-party failures. Sensa is not responsible for broker outages, downtime, latency, market halts, exchange or clearing issues, data discrepancies, or rejected or unfilled orders.
- You remain responsible. You remain solely responsible for monitoring your connected accounts, orders, and positions, and for any action needed to manage risk, including independently contacting your broker.
Sensa does not hold your funds or securities and does not execute, clear, or custody trades — your broker does.
6. Technology and Operational Risk
Software and connectivity can fail. You accept the risk of:
- outages, downtime, latency, and delays in the Service, your broker, exchanges, or data providers;
- slippage between expected and actual execution prices;
- missed, delayed, duplicated, or erroneous signals, alerts, webhooks, or orders;
- data errors or gaps affecting analytics and automated logic; and
- security incidents despite reasonable safeguards.
You should not rely solely on the Service and should maintain independent means of monitoring and managing your accounts.
7. Market Data Risk
Market data, quotes, fundamentals, news, and corporate-action information come from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, missing, or inaccurate, including errors in split/dividend/symbol adjustments. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy. Verify all data against your broker and primary sources before acting. (See the Market Data Disclaimer in the Terms of Service.)
8. Regulatory Risk
Markets, Brokers, exchanges, clearing houses, and regulators may change rules, margin and capital requirements, position limits, trading permissions, listing status, or other conditions at any time and without notice. Such changes can affect your ability to open, hold, or close positions, the cost of trading, and the availability of instruments or features, and may result in losses. You are responsible for staying informed of the rules that apply to your accounts and instruments.
9. Backtesting, Simulated, and Hypothetical Performance
The Service displays backtested and simulated results — including strategy backtests, paper-trading accounts, demo data, equity curves, win rates, and derived performance statistics. These are hypothetical, not the record of actual trading.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
Specific limitations that apply to results shown in the Service include:
- Hindsight and selection. A backtest is constructed after the period it covers, using instruments, parameters, and date ranges chosen with knowledge of what happened.
- Execution assumptions. Simulated fills may assume liquidity, pricing, or timing that would not have been available in the live market, and may under-model slippage, spread, partial fills, commissions, financing, and fees.
- Data limitations. Results depend on historical data that may be incomplete, revised, or inaccurately adjusted for splits, dividends, symbol changes, and other corporate actions, and may be subject to survivorship bias.
- No financial risk. Paper and demo accounts involve no real money, and therefore cannot reproduce the behavioral pressure that affects real trading decisions.
- Past performance is not indicative of future results. Analytics and historical statistics describe the past and do not predict the future.
Sensa Inc. is not a commodity trading advisor or commodity pool operator and does not offer a trading program. The legend above is included because it is the recognized standard for presenting hypothetical results, and results shown in the Service should be read against it.
10. Testimonials, User-Shared Results, and Community Content
The Service includes community and social features — shared playbooks, shared trade reviews, published closed trades, comments, groups, leaderboards, and discipline or performance scores — as well as demonstration data and, from time to time, testimonials or user quotes.
- Individual results are not typical and are not a guarantee. Any result shown by another user, a testimonial, or a leaderboard entry reflects that person's own circumstances, capital, risk tolerance, timing, and decisions. You should not expect to obtain similar results.
- User content is not verified by us. We do not audit, confirm, or endorse the accuracy of results, trades, strategies, or claims that users share, and shared content may be incomplete, selectively presented, or wrong.
- Not advice. Nothing another user shares through the Service is investment advice from that user or from Sensa, and it is not a recommendation to trade.
- Leaderboards and scores are limited measures. Rankings and scores reflect only the data the Service holds for the accounts involved, over the period and metric shown, and are not a measure of skill, suitability, or expected future performance.
- Demonstration data is fictional. Demo and sample accounts are populated with generated data for illustration and do not represent actual trading by anyone.
- We do not pay for testimonials. We do not compensate users for providing a testimonial or review, and do not condition access to the Service on providing one. Where a person sharing content has a material connection to Sensa, we disclose it.
11. Your Responsibility

- are responsible for evaluating whether any instrument or strategy is suitable for you;
